Hello! My name is Wright Gottlen.
I am a trilingual neurodivergent queer actor and translator currently living in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK.
I am primarily a stage & voice actor, and have performed in venues such as Theatro Technis and Donmar Warehouse, as well as lent my voice to many indie animated projects in Russian and English languages. As a huge supporter of independent media, I prefer working with smaller studios.
I am a skilled translator and offer translation services in Russian to English. Having spent my formative years in England and raised by Russian speaking parents, I possess a native-level knowledge and understanding of both Russian and English (US & UK), and have experience translating creative texts, scripts for animation & video games, stage plays, comic books and much more. I also have a B2 level of proficiency in Finnish.
I am currently studying for my BA in Theatre and Performance.
I am currently working as a casting director & translator at Phoenix Animation.
